Losing Interest

Maybe I am just tired this evening but I am losing interest in my blog. Yesterday my picture uploader disappeard from the blogspot toolbar, the dashboard disappeared long ago. I should really find something else but this worked so well for 3 years I hate to leave. Blogging isn't the same when I can't show you my pictures, even when they are not that good. They always have a message.

I was in 5 counties or so today and they got an inch to three inches south of us. I saw more burned up corn in Adams County. Everything needs a drink.

Thanks for your prayers for Will, he is out of surgery and home tomorrow to start rehab. Friday is Katherine's big day, prayers to Tara, Erik and the doctors.

  1. You've probably been reported for harassment, your corn pictures hurt too much... ^-^

Are you in the HTML or the Compose mode when posting a new entry?
What browser, version and operating system are you using to post in your blog?
Have you tried installing and using Chrome to see if the problem repros on Google's own browser?

I would have asked are you using the old or the new Blogger (old: http://i.imgur.com/kmO9I.png, new: http://i.imgur.com/DOQGI.png) but since you said your dashboard disappeared, I assume it means you are on the new one).

Lastly, what exactly has changed, has the Insert Picture icon disappeared from your toolbar, did you use another way to add pictures, did you update your Google+ information recently or another action that may have impacted Blogger?

You should post all this together with your Blogger address on Google support forum:

  2. Oh you can't quit now. You book isn't finished. Eventually it will rain and blogger will start working. I am assuming you paid your crop insurance premiums...
We could all switch to wordpress...
Plus, you getcomments from chimel! I don't get comments from chimel! Of course my blog is full of complaints, odd tangents, and sometimes down right juvenile behavior. For example, today's photo of my 350lb employee on top of a haystack attempting to tie the tops together so they can be picked up by a large hyster squeeze...
Now, I am going to go stare at a windrow and the moment I can pick up a hand full of hay, twist it three times and get most of the stems to break, I'm going to bale like there is no tomorrow. I am even attempting to borrow a couple balers from my neighbor.

  4. Kevin, I think Budde has me spotted. I have my interest back now(temporarily I am sure) and Chimel is going to make this old man do things he doesn't like to do because it takes thinking and my thinker is tired.

Yes, Budde, we have good crop insurance but you don't know how well that doesn't pay.

  5. Budde, I am pretty sure you are better off without my irrelevant and irreverent comments! ^-^

Haha, sorry, I had to seriously cut down on blogs, and yours was mostly about broken equipment or other catastrophes or employees lazier than the lazy farmer himself at the time! ^-^

Ed, don't give up, how would I get the creme de la creme of newagtalk if not from your blog?
And I am not the only one who wants you to stay connected:
